The five star President Hotel stands in a wonderful location, just minutes from the famous Old Town Square, with views across the river Vltava to the Castle area and Mala Strana. Three years after the completion of its total refurbishment in 2004 the hotel was awarded a prestigious ‘fifth star’ by the Association of Hotels and Restaurants of the Czech Republic, and there is no doubt that today it sits comfortably with the other luxury hotels in the City – possibly even outdoing some of them in terms of location, facilities and service.

Comprehensive services
The hotel is popular with both the high-end tourist trade and the business traveler, partly due to its excellent location and ease of access, and also its extensive range of conference and business facilities.

The hotel offers six multi-functional meeting rooms with a maximum capacity of 240. This means that although it is unsuitable for large-scale conventions and congresses, it tends to attract the smaller conferences and events for which the facilities are ideally suited. Proof of its success is the hotel’s popularity with the local business community as well as corporate bookers from overseas, and this is due, in no small part, to its aim is to exceed every client’s expectations by providing high quality accommodation alongside a complex, competitive range of services that satisfy as many requirements as possible.

Maximum customer orientation and an individual approach, together with great attention to detail are, without doubt, the President’s strongest points.
Recent innovations, however, have
made the hotel an even more attractive choice for the VIP traveler. Today the President Hotel offers its very own loyalty programme, the “President Club”, which entitles cardholders to obtain the ultimate in VIP treatment when they stay in the hotel, along with significant reductions in the cost of food and drink. “President Club” members receive an automatic up-grade to the executive floor rooms, free meeting room rental, and a range of other extras that make membership very difficult to resist.
With an eye on its guests’ increasingly regular demands for fitness and wellness treatments, the Hotel also opened a Taiwan Thai massage centre in April 2007 and this now forms part of the President Hotel’s spa; which complements the already open and popular fitness room, sauna and Jacuzzi, all of which are enjoyed by hotel guests and visitors from outside.

The hotel made the headlines again last year, when it announced that the famous Czech chef, Milan Pesek was to become Head Chef of the hotel’s Vltava Restaurant after spending some years in Paris as well as at a number of Prague’s top restaurants. With monthly ‘Chef Shows’, seasonal specials and a range of exclusive events, the Vltava Restaurant is fast becoming one of the places in Prague to see and be seen.
