Croatia is a gorgeous country, which is a part of the Mediterranean, the Alps and central Europe. It is a perfect destination for all kinds of vacationing, from sailing through the thousands of isles and islands, canoeing through clear rivers, to horseback riding through rich fields. Imagine this: in the morning you get up, hit the slopes and go snowboarding, and after lunch you hop in the car, go for a half an hour ride, to spend the whole afternoon by the sea, surfing on a wakeboard… all that in just one day. Yes, Croatia offers everything: mountains, the sea, forests, lakes, fields and plains, islands, vegetation and animal life which only a few countries in Europe have. You can witness it all if you visit protected national parks like “The Plitvice Lakes”, the Brioni and the Kornati Isles.
History, tradition and culture
Besides that, in Croatia you can see certain protected species of animal and plant life for example dolphins and the bald eagle, the former being extinct in the rest of Europe. This small country boasts collections of ancient artefacts, from the prehistoric and Neanderthal times to the Illyrian, Greek and Roman eras to the famous modern art of today. We are going to take you through hundreds of years of Croatian history, traditions and culture. You will hear stories of ancient legends and beautiful tales of hero’s who saved Europe from the Ottoman invaders; of tragic love stories, knights and fairies who lived on the banks of Croatian rivers, sailors; of travellers and dames who waited for them in the beautiful castles on rolling hills on the coast of the Adriatic Sea.
A rich cuisine
The varied geography, the rich history and important culture have gifted Croatia with a rich cuisine, influenced with worldly creativity, made with organic ingredients. From the native olives, fresh fish, homemade pasta of the Mediterranean, smoked meats, goulashes and beautiful pastries thanks to the middle European influence, to the great variety of local vines –golden scented traminer from the banks of Danube was poured at Queen Elizabeth’s crowning – we invite you to dine in a truly superior restaurant: with a small boat we will take you to a hidden cove and prepare fresh grilled fish.
A lot to offer
We offer a little of everything, from day visits to the Plitvicka Jezera National Park, boat tours to inaccessible shores, organised trips with accommodation in hotels, or dinners hosted by our gastro experts. You can either pick one offer, or just contact us and tell us your ideas. We will organise an unforgettable special guided tour through our beautiful country just as you wish. We invite you to join us on the voyage through Croatia, the unexplored European pearl..
