Inspired by her visit to Naama View residential project in Sharm El Sheikh in 2007 Ms. Svetlana Konina – President of Cairo Star Group – decided to implement a similar concept of community gate in a beautiful bay of Sahl Hasheesh set on the shores of the Red Sea – one of Egypt’ most desirable and promising locations (only 18 km south from Hurghada airport). In August 2007 Ms. Svetlana Konina assigned the “Egyptian Union for Construction” company to implement the Lana Hills project on the land plot 22C (total of 58,770 square metres. In October 2007 construction started and by August 2008 over 20 percent of the total construction works have been completed. With April / May 2010 the deadline for completion of entire project.
The front line of the project is at the level 25 m above the sea claiming up to 35 m – this factor of the actual landscape brought the idea of Lana Hills as a name of the residential community gate.
