The Eurasia Boat Show is beginning to make a name for itself in the boating community

the Eurasia Boat Show, having fulfilled international standards, has steadily become one of the most important boat shows in the world, competing with famous names such as Cannes, Paris, Monaco, Dusseldorf, Genoa, London, Miami, Mets and Seatec.

Eurasia Boat Show, the largest in its field in Turkey and the second-largest boat and yacht fair organised on land in the world, has become a member of the International Federation for Boat Show Organisers (IFBSO) and has cemented its place as one of the leading boat shows worldwide. The next edition of the show will be organised on 10-19th February 2012 at the Istanbul CNR Expo Center.

Organised by Pozitif Trade Fairs Inc., an affiliate of the leading fair organiser in Turkey, CNR Holding, Eurasia Boat Show aims to become the largest yacht fair organised on land by 2015. Eurasia Boat Show’s acceptance into the IFBSO is the most conrete indication of its high standards. The Eurasia Boat Show’s membership was officially accepted in the congress held in Rotterdam which also hosted the ICOMIA, (International Council of Marine Industry Associations), as well as the International Federation for Boat Show Organisers.

Rising popularity
Ceyda Erem, the President of the CNR Holding, commented on Eurasia Boat Show’s membership to the IFBSO: “The IFBSO membership has been the latest indicator that Eurasia Boat Show’s popularity is on the rise. Our objective is to become the largest boat and yacht fair in the world organised on land by 2015. We will also be simultaneously organising an event at the Ataköy Marina from 2012 onwards to exhibit yachts and boats on the sea, and thus we will have offered a complimentary aspect which was missing for years.”

The IFBSO President Jurij Korenc, having visited the Eurasia Boat Show in 2011, declared his personal support for the awarding of IFBSO membership, stating that all the requirements were in place.

Eurasia Boat Show, which has been organised by CNR Holding since 2007, covered a huge 75,000m2 area in 2011. 370 companies participated in the fair and a total of 135,234 people, 6,200 of whom were foreigners, visited the fair.

The sixth Eurasia Boat Show (10-19th February 2012) with the support of DENTUR, the Assocation for Developing the Marine Industry and Maritime, will be held at the CNR Expo in Istanbul.
