Surrounded by cork forests and centenary olive trees, hares, squirrels and deer, one can admire the amazing environment. Maremma’s beautiful slopes, the sea and the lagoon, all submerged in the scent of strawberry fields, set the scene of a unique environment with a mild climate that allows golf to be played all year round.

The eighteen-hole golf course was designed by architect David Mezzacane, with the help of Baldovino Dassù. The enchantment of the location, the sounds of nature and charming lakes combine to create a stimulating course that will inspire any golfer whatever their technical abilities may be.

The course consists of 18 championship holes, 71 par, 6,218m, modelled by the American Brian Jorgensen. The greens are almost all small, with a light breeze that contributes to a mild temperature and adds a variable to the game, which on this course requires both precision and strength. The par three holes are marvellous: two look onto the sea and lagoon, another is immersed in the Maremma bush. One depends on the wind and another requires extreme delicacy with a stretch of water sitting before the green. The entire area, including the grass on the course, is certified “Agri Cert” eco bio compatible and everything used to maintain it is absolutely natural. The practice range offers the opportunity to improve your technical skills while enjoying the charm of the natural landscape.

The club has a driving range with a total of 24 stations, 12 of which covered, with a length of 300m: the perfect environment to hone your skills before a round. The main putting green, the chipping area and the practice bunker are just near the bouvette, and a second putting green is located behind the driving range, adjacent to the tee of the first hole.

Argentario Golf Club’s team of qualified professionals has vast experience of teaching players of all standards, from juniors and beginners to top amateurs, and is ready to advise you in all matters golf related, from individual or group lessons to custom fitting, also helping you make the right choice on any new equipment. All pros are flexible and can organise lessons depending on your ability and requirements. Playing a round of golf with one of the pros is a wonderful opportunity to improve your techniques, and if your time is short, you can enjoy a one-hour lesson at the driving range.

The Pro Shop is a great place to find the most important brands of golf clothes, equipment and accessories. If you are looking for a new driver or the latest putter, or a full set of irons, you can enjoy making your club selections from an impressive list. Demo clubs are available for testing and the team of professionals are always ready to give clients the best suggestions. In the shop, you can choose from a huge list of traditional or contemporary fashion design or the latest technical sportswear.

The clubhouse is a tasteful and refined meeting point for golfers. It offers a functional location, with a large lounge\bar area, including a terrace, where a beautiful view of the course and of the surroundings can be enjoyed. The clubhouse also includes a shop that sells a wide variety of golf clothing and equipment, as well as the club secretariat, where professionals will attend to your requirements and offer information on the facilities and services of the club. Services available to members include golf car rental, golf bag storage and private lessons.

The resort
Within the 77 hectares of the golf course is located the Argentario Golf Resort & Spa offering 66 junior suites all with terraces overlooking the golf course, equipped with every comfort and the latest technologies. The suites are divided on three levels each of which features a different style. At the third level, the ‘Club Junior Suite’ represents the spirit of 
this glamorous resort. Dark wood, the Tabarca stone tub in the centre of the room, chrome, warm colours and precious fabrics characterise the international vocation. At the second level, the ‘Tuscany Suite Junior’ expresses a new idea: the black furniture contrasting with oak floors, the boiserie and the large sandstone tub make these rooms the hottest of the resort. On the first floor, directly connected to the outdoor swimming pools, the ‘Gallery Junior Suite’ defines a new contemporary, with access corridors designed as an exhibition space. White resin, optical contrasts, vintage furniture and contemporary photographs are 
the response of Argentario to 
the common conception of the resort. The resort also offers 
seven different suites for different levels of hospitality. Each suite 
has a plasma TV, music and 
large terrace, designed for 
relaxing and outdoor dinner.

Meetings and events
Argentario aids the concept of business space by offering 
natural materials, warm light 
in a welcoming atmosphere, 
a very informal way to offer its guests requested services from a master conference room for 200 people, an executive conference room for 100 people and a junior conference room for 50 people, all equipped with video projection, audio-visual equipment and telecommunications services. They are also within the structure of a business centre with private workstations equipped with 
five computers, Internet access, fax, phone and also the private boardroom for meetings of 
up to 12 people.

The business area of the resort also has a cloakroom, services and relaxing common areas and the resort is able to provide on demand personal assistants to the events and multilingual secretarial services.

Wellness centre
At garden level, with direct access to golf courses, there is a wellness centre designed as capsules used for the regeneration of the body. White space interrupted by the black and light wood, create a new style somewhere between retro and contemporary. Massage rooms, turkish baths, a sauna, tropical showers, salt water pools, and a Kneipp course are available for guests. A large indoor pool with a hydro massage, a waterfall shower and outdoor swimming pools with geyser area and solarium are all in view of the 18th hole and polo club.

Reservation
The Espace Suite is the personal spa in the wellness centre. Equipped with a Turkish bath, waterfall shower, Jacuzzi and hamman bed. The suite can be reserved for the desired time and allow personalised treatments in addition to an organic lunch at the edge of the pool. The Espace Gym is equipped with Technogym equipment as well as a room for the free body. Open 24 hours a day, a personal trainer and UVA sun beds can be provided on demand.
