Offering spectacular panoramic views and an unrivalled buzz - Caribbean Helicopters has tours and charters to suit all desires and budgets

On the island tours you will be thrilled as you gently ascend on your breathtaking voyage over translucent waters, reefs and desolate hidden beaches; swooping up the side of mountains and looming over the top, gliding down through the green unpopulated valleys. Or hover over Shirley Heights and historic English Harbour and see Antigua as never seen before. Even residents who have lived there for years cannot believe they are seeing parts of the island they never knew existed - one of the beautiful and rare advantages of having a noncommercialised, unspoiled island.

If you are looking for something entirely different, the tour to Montserrat is the most popular trip. The Montserrat volcano offers the chance of a lifetime to see Mother Nature at work. Approaching over W. H. Bramble airport, destroyed in September 1997, you'll fly south over the Tar River flow, and on to view the destruction of the capital - Plymouth. Depending on cloud cover, you'll view the Soufriere Hills volcano dome before observing the massive destruction along the North and Southwest coastlines.

Restrictions such as airborne ash and explosive events may prevent flights to Montserrat. Have no fear Unlike an airplane, a helicopter offers a very smooth transition into flight. Surrounded by windows, the view is excellent.

Having logged over 32 million flight hours, the Bell 206 series is the safest, most reliable single engine aircraft in the world. Caribbean Helicopters' impressive helicopters are equipped with life jackets, a life raft and popout flotation for additional over-water safety. Seating four to six passengers, plus a pilot, this spacious helicopter can cruise at 130 mph and has a range of 360 miles, with a capability of carrying 1200 lbs on the cargo hook.

Established operation
Caribbean Helicopters is in its thirteenth year of operation in Antigua and offers much more than just sightseeing tours. Some of the charters include day trips to neighbouring islands, inter-island transfers, search and rescue operations, aerial photography, video and film productions, geophysical surveys, medevac and aerial construction. For whatever tour or charter you have decided on, Caribbean Helicopters' friendly and helpful flight attendants will escort you along the short pathway to the helipad where your chariot awaits!

Once aboard, the highly skilled pilots ensure your complete safety and satisfaction and give a humorous and very informative talk while in the air. Flying seven days a week, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Caribbean Helicopters offers you the choice of how best you will experience the variety of truly amazing panoramic delights, priceless memories and photographic opportunities. Tours from US $115 per person; don't forget your camera or video recorder!
