Bmi, Heathrow's second largest airline, has introduced a cosmopolitan spring menu to its short-haul services giving passengers access to a great selection of top quality brands

The new menu will feature Fairtade products for the first time along with award winning sandwiches.

Passengers will be able to choose Divine Fairtrade chocolate bars - deliciously made from pure cocoa butter and real vanilla as well as great selection of other premium quality food and drinks from leading brands including Kenco, Suchards, Ribena and Del Monte.

A healthy and fresh new sandwich range sees the arrival of Brie and Grape and roast chicken salad with cracked black pepper, mayonnaise, vine ripened tomatoes, cucumber and lettuce on malted brown bread, all supplied by Buckingham Foods, Sandwich Manufacturer of the Year 2004.

The new look in flight offer responds to research carried out with 10,000 bmi passengers to find out what they think makes a great airline. The new bmi in-flight service is focused on giving passengers real choice and ensuring that they only pay for what they want. Nigel Turner, bmi chief executive said:

“At bmi we have listened to what our customers wanted and have reflected this in our refreshed menu.”
