It will be one of the largest properties in the Radisson BLU portfolio and it promises to be a delight for the senses with 201 stylish rooms and apartments all with sea views and private balconies, plus a further 207 luxury apartments.

The Radisson will offer one of the largest congress centres on the Dalmatian Coast, spread across 1,100sq m with a ballroom able to accommodate up to 850 people in theatre style, and divisible in three sections. Seven additional meeting rooms complete the congress centre.

Split
The largest and most important city in Dalmatia, the administrative centre of Croatia’s Split-Dalmatia County, situated on a small peninsula on the eastern shores of the Adriatic Sea. Many of Split’s historical and cultural buildings can be found within the wall of the Diocletian’s Palace, built at the end of the third century AD. Split is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where visitors can enjoy architecture from the Byzantine, Venetian and Austro-Hungarian periods.

The Radisson BLU Resort is due to open during Summer 2009, and will provide guests with a luxurious base from which to explore the stunning Adriatic coast. Overlooking the Mediterranean, it is just a few steps from magnificent beaches and a lively casino. Designed to the highest standards, the hotel provides a chic setting for both meeting and leisure activities. The hotel boasts a total of 258 modern guestrooms, including standard rooms, suites and two amazing presidential suites of 259sq m each, most of the rooms facing the sea. The hotel is situated a 3.5km relaxing walk by the sea from the city, and less than 30km from the international airport.

The hotel will offer guests the best of international cuisine in addition to the culinary specialities of the Dalmation region. The all day restaurant will serve the well known super breakfast with over 100 breakfast dishes, while the specialty grill restaurant will be able to tempt guests with local favourites and international dishes.
