It can be hard to find the time to fully appreciate a destination and what it has to offer. Here are a few of the finer spots to eat in some of the world's most- travelled business regions


New York, Patsy's

Basics
Patsy's is a New York icon - up there with the Yankees and the Empire State Building. It is a short walk from the main business district and chief hotel area, but is settled in among the side streets enough to illuminate a feeling of old New York. The establishment was known as Frank Sinatra's favourite haunt, and it was rumoured throughout his lifetime that he had more than just a culinary interest in the business.

Food
Patsy's is known for its pasta, but its signature dishes must be Chicken Contadina, made from Amish chicken, the Veal Rollatine Marsala, and many of their wide range of seafood mains.

Something to nibble

New Delhi, Bukhara


Basics
With New Delhi's successful transport links, many restaurants across the city are within the grasp of the busy traveller. That said, it is worth making reservations at the Maurya Sheraton and Tower Hotel in order to experience the food on offer at the Bukhara. Setting the standard in Indian cuisine since 1978, very little has been changed of the restaurant's original interior.

Food
The menu comprises of mainly meat dishes, slow cooked in a clay tandoor which was developed by the late Master Chef Mandanlal Jaiswal. The restaurant is known among the world's culinary elite for its Sikandari Raan, or marinated whole leg of spring lamb. A warning should be served when taking new clients to the Bukhara: knives and forks are withheld from diners, who are encouraged to eat with their fingers. Expect a messy affair!

Something to nibble

Hong Kong, The Felix


Basics
On the top floor of the Peninsula Hotel, the avant-garde interior at the Felix - with an American bar and boxed off dance floor - compliment the complex's views, which leave little to the imagination.

Type of food
A fusion of East-meets-West combinations featuring Pacific Rim ingredients make the menu a pleasure to read. If it is possible for anything to stand out from the illustrious selection, it must be the hibachi-grilled Saikyo-miso salmon or the Mongolian-style barbecued rack of lamb. Wheelers and dealers from all over the province take time to travel from all over the city to enjoy the luxurious atmosphere provided by the Felix, as a whole night can be spent dining, enjoying the signature cocktails, and the heat sensitive dance floor. This is a must for anyone trying to impress the Hong Kong business world.

Something to nibble

The gents' urinals are infamous. Being attached to windows, they give toilet-goers the opportunity to have another stupendous view of the city. Salisbury Road. Mains HK$225 - HK$350. Reservations (852) 2315 3188
