The current trend for buying property abroad is being recognised at the forthcoming Homes Overseas Awards 2006

Now in its third year the ceremony rewards the very best in new homes and has rapidly become the benchmark for the finest in international real estate.

In the last ten years the overseas property market has boomed with new developments popping up across the world. In response, the Awards offer much needed assurance to buyers that a newly built property has been well put together, with care and attention given to the construction and finish. The transparent manner in which the Awards are judged gives winners a quality position in a crowded market that often faces cynical media attention.

Last year, Portugal’s Vale do Lobo, cleared up at the awards, receiving not only the prestigious award for Developer of the Year but also a Gold Award for Best Portuguese Apartment, three Silver awards for the Best Portuguese House/Villa, Best Luxury Development and Best Landscape Design, plus a Bronze award as Best Golf Development category.
