Bratislava is already experiencing very high growth; the rest of Slovakia is currently catching up and is growing by about 10 percent per annum.

Bratislava ' the largest city and the capital of Slovakia ' is a major centre for industry and culture. It lies in the south-West close to the borders of Hungary and Austria. The Danube river flows through the centre of the city. It has many similarities with Budapest and Vienna and is still relatively undiscovered by western tourists.
